Le Papillon Restaurant was established in 1970 as an unlicensed restaurant in Barnet High Street.

In the early 70’s we moved to East Barnet Village from where under the current ownership developed and expanded, opening in 1992 a 2nd restaurant in Potters Bar.

In 1998 The Woodhall Arms was developed to incorporate Papillon Restaurants.

We are now concentrating on further developing “Papillon-Woodhall Arms” inn and restaurant.

Just a 5 minute drive away from the beautiful county town of Hertford, yet in the heart of a thriving community providing some idyllic views for patrons. There is also a local bus service going to both Hertford and Stevenage within walking distance, you will find a children's park, wooded area with public footpath and the deeply historic St Mary's Parish Church

Local attractions include, Knebworth House, Castle Hall, Hatfield House, Lea Valley Park, Paradise Park (zoo and adventure world), St Albans Cathedral, Roman Theatre Verulamium.
