Le Papillon Restaurant was established in 1970 as an unlicensed restaurant in Barnet High Street.
In the early 70’s we moved to EastBarnetVillage from where under the current ownership developed and expanded, opening in 1992 a 2nd restaurant in Potters Bar.
In 1998 The Woodhall Arms was developed to incorporate Papillon Restaurants.
We are now concentrating on further developing “Papillon-Woodhall Arms” inn and restaurant.
The Restaurant
English and continental style cuisine, large selection of fresh fish, vegetarian dishes - all dishes are cooked to order.
Only fresh produce of the highest quality is used on our menus.
Extended world wide wine list.
Due to our popularity reservations are essential particularly at weekends.
The Bar
A welcoming atmosphere for a quiet drink during the week or buzzing and warming at weekends.
Well cared for real ales, including the regulars: young’s bitter and greene king’s ipa as well as guest beers enable us to be in the good beer guide.
